Because this is a capped game, players are expected to consistently keep characters active to remain in the game—or, if they can't, to drop and reapply at a later date. The mods may reach out to players who consistently provide links to only minimum activity to discuss the player's engagement in the game.
We encourage you to keep rule 3 in mind with your choice of activity links and the contents of your summary, so that our AC mods can maintain a holistic understanding of your activity in the game. When we ask for "enthusiastic participation", we want to see players "writing out scenes instead of merely handwaving." Enthusiastically engaged players maintain a range of CR with castmates and non-castmates alike by completing threads (not just plotting, handwaving, or starting) with one another most months. These players' threads change their character's relationships with their CR over time, influencing one another to action and reaction, and also engage with the game events and the setting to influence, reveal, or change the character's personal beliefs and attitudes.
Any changes to the activity policy will have a full activity period of warning prior to implementation.
Activity must be submitted to this post each month. There is no set period for when to post your activity here each month as long as it's by the end of the month. You are more than welcome to post your activity link as soon as you have it, and edit the comment throughout the month to update your summary.
Using the form below, players must summarize their characters' engagement and provide two links to at least three comments from their character made in the game communities (![[community profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/community.png)
rubilogs and rubilykskoye) within the same calendar month of the activity period (e.g., June AC should include comments made in June). If the player links to a post in the game communities that they created in which they wrote more than 6 comments, this can be provided as a single link.
Players who cannot make activity for a given month should comment to the hiatus page as soon as they anticipate failing to submit. Due to the game's low activity requirements, players may not miss multiple consecutive activity checks.
On the first of the month, moderators will then sweep inactive players who do not submit to AC. At this point, players who have not submitted will be swept from the game. If the game is at cap, those players will need to reapply; if the game is not at cap, feel free to contact a moderator to discuss leniency.

While the minimum required activity for this game is low, an activity rewards shop exists to incentivize players to more actively engage with the game's plot events. On this page, players can earn plot coins and exchange them for privileges, resources, and influence for their character.
Players can EARN A PLOT COIN in any month that the traveling Minstrel visits Rubilykskoye. When the Minstrel arrives in town, the mods will create a new sub-heading under this thread. To earn a plot coin for a given character, players must submit proof of exceptional activity by the end of the month.
The activity requirements to earn a plot coin are as follows:
A PLOT COIN EXPIRES if a player does not spend it by the time the Minstrel comes around again. They cannot be stocked up and spent in bulk. To keep players from getting caught off guard by the expiration of a plot coin, the Minstrel's arrival will always be marked on the game calendar and SOTG posts. Players can anticipate this happening every 3-4 months.
Players can SPEND THEIR PLOT COIN as soon as they have commented, by filling out the form on the plotting post. We will then approve your purchase and screen the comment with your bonus activity. (If there is a problem with your links, we will reach out on the AC page ASAP, but you do not need to wait for an approval to spend the coin.)
