Brueno is easily caught by Stephen's first portal and will surrender quickly, not wanting to instigate any violence. He knows he would lose that battle, given they're both obviously more fit than him. He'll also cave pretty instantly and tell Stephen and Gabe whatever they want to know. He's quite a blubbering baby about the whole ordeal.

Brueno claims that he traveled to the beach with Klinko and Dolorishkya, corroborating their story that they were asked to look after him by his grandmother. He says that he himself had no part in the attack, but he did hear through the grapevine that some Zlatniki had been talking about stealing supplies intended for town. Those plans definitely didn't include torching the supplies, though. He doesn't know who was actually behind the theft.
